This was an interesting take on the topic. I hate when starving animals show up, but it is nice to see how full of energy they are with a bit of care.

Do you have a new little one! How wonderful is that. As I work fulltime I will not be acquiring anymore until the two I have are no longer here (I hate to even think it) and by that time I will be retired and will have more. I so love pets.

Renee — there is a revolving door in our front yard … over the spring and summer, a very thin male showed up and kept YaYa company and played with her. He has been quite sad since we lost her 2 weeks ago. He has decided to stay – we will get him neutered next week.

Wonderful haiku. Those dear little critters are so blessed to be drawn your way. Unique and lovely picture too.

I’m reminded of a throw-away line I read in a book once: “Cats know things.” Clearly, your visitors know about you. That’s wonderful.

There is some hidden power in the starving kitten that beckons us to respond with joy.

I admire your respect for the waifs and strays that pitch up at your door, Becca. Clearly they are drawn by your own loving energy, knowing they’ll receive a warm welcome! 🙂

Oh they are … we have an energy portal somewhere on our front property because they show up out of nowhere … some stay with us for awhile and some move on! But they are usually always very very thin when they find us!
