Oh Renee – I am sorry to hear about your flag counter. I wish I had had it from the beginning – and I am afraid to make any changes to it for fear I will lose it and have to start over as well. Thank you for visiting … I hadn’t intended for this to be a funny one – but that is what evolved … 😀

  6. Guessing it is really hot there! We’ve only just come into summer here (Atlantic Canada) and it’s pleasantly warm. Not hot and humid at all. Keep drinking the tea!
Thank you for visiting me and the comment too 🙂

    That’s certainly a different slant! 😀

I hope you aren’t having the same problem with wildlife dying of thirst as another Texas blogger wrote about. It breaks my heart to think that animals would be perishing if we humans have the means to share.

We are definitely in a drought … the land is brown and the water tanks are getting very low … I haven’t heard of animals perishing in our area, but I certainly can see it as a possibility … I do know the coyotes and snakes are getting closer into towns looking for water … we had an inch and a half earlier last week. It was glorious!! We are praying for more rain.

We lived in Texas 2 different times in the past…when it got to be 105, I remember craving watermelon, crushed ice, and looking for a swimming pool! My Best, joni
