When I was young, I lived in Montrose.. about a 3 hour trip from Durango.. I loved it there. My family would go on outings into the San Juans the and up to Cow Creek.. Love this Becca.

awesome and breath-taking. all the more special as it was part of a trip with your 90+ mom! the water and trees so reflect the cylces of nature; as does mother and daughter sharing the trip and moment together.

This is SO refreshing this morning (Monday!). So pleased it was “saved” for me until this a.m., when I truly needed this blessed refreshment from so much on this agenda this week! Bless you!

Laurie – amazing to me … both you and Siggi feel the chill … perhaps because it was taken in the Fall … and the day was quite chilly … funny — I had not thought of it until two of you mentioned the same impression from it! 🙂

Lovely bits of color…you captured “cold” in my mind ☺.
It must have been a great memory maker of a trip…how lucky you were to be able to make the trip with your Mom.

Instead of reflecting the sky, the water seems to be reflecting the leaves and trees.
