The equilibrium of surrounding and projected energy in a household with seven (7) energy beings with fur, particularly cats, is delicate.  It takes very little for the flow to become out of balance, putting at least one of them in a tail-spin … leaving the humans (Ray and me) in a quandary … racking our brains for the cause and/or solution.

I have known for quite some time the “kids” feel there is too much energy swirling in our living space.  Yet … no one desires to make a change in the arrangements (i.e. go to another home)!  I remind them on a regular basis, each came to us willingly, and we accept them as they are – and basically … “get over it … and quickly!” LOL

Since Magnolia left us 10 days ago, everyone seems to be in a tizzy.  Between offering us solace, and meeting their prerequisites  – several are suddenly very needy for our attention and our personal space.  Sleeping and lounging spaces are changing, as well as daily activity.   Those who tend to avoid me, except when hungry,  are vying for my attention and my lap to curl on – if only for a few minutes.

While Magnolia was physically here – she displayed obvious displeasure of the role of “matriarch”.  Like each of them, she wanted to be an only child. 🙂 Nonetheless, she assumed the role, and kept each of them “in their place”.   With her passing, I thought the lesser amount of energy would provide  a welcome relief to them. Turns out, it is quite the contrary.

I mentioned this to an animal communicator friend of mine.  She gave me another perspective … in truth, Magnolia was the “Rock of Gibraltar”.  Perhaps, surprising themselves, they are grieving for her sudden physical transition while adjusting to the change and rearrangement of energy.  “Who is the boss now?”

The household is on a regiment of Bach Flower Essence of “Star of Bethlehem” (shock, grief and trauma) and “Walnut” (adjustment to change) for two (2) weeks … humans included.
