What is Nurturing Thursday, you ask?

Think about it … In our amazing but highly competitive and aggressive society:

How many of us truly feel good about ourselves?
How often do we extend to ourselves … the same courtesies, considerations, nurturing, forgiveness and understanding we bestow a loved one, a friend, or even a stranger?

With the ongoing intention to accept myself with an open heart rather than label myself as “good” or “bad” OR a “success” or “failure” … I challenge myself, and I challenge YOU to treat ourselves with the same kindness, caring, and compassion we show a good friend. My goal for this year continues with striving and thriving in an atmosphere of self-compassion and self-kindness in my life. What about you?

To “give this planet a much needed shot of fun, support and positive energy” … I dub Thursdays as Nurturing Thursday.
