In the past, if our house was decorated for any occasion, I typically was the one responsible for the task. A number of years have passed since I have done anything more than hang a Christmas wreath on the front door; usually a few days closer to Christmas.
Saturday morning, my husband surprised me!!!!
Unbeknownst to me, he moved our outside Christmas decorations from the attic to the front yard. Totally on his own … he completed the task of “setting up” the pieces and lighting. He even remembered to attach the light sensitive timer. After the successful completion of his surprise task, we toasted “the return” of our holiday tradition with a cup of eggnog … in Christmas mugs. We are EARLY!!! 😀
It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Now … to decide whether or not to put up a Christmas tree.
