John and Schoep – Summer 2012
Nearly a year ago, Schoep suffering from severe arthritis could barely walk. His only relief from pain was a daily swim in the lake with his loving guardian, John. Fearing he would have to make the ultimate decision for Schoep’s well being, and with limited days remaining, John asked his friend and photographer, Hannah of Stonehouse Photography to take photos of the two of them together.
This act of kindness put into motion an instant connection with the world thus creating an incredible journey of love, devotion, assistance for Schoep and others. I have been following Schoep and John since early on, and all I can say is I love love love these two incredible beings. There is something “spiritual” about this journey – theirs and mine.

I love this tender story, and yes I have seen it, read it and followed it, from Facebook to an article about how the photo came to be in the Success Magazine, but the coolest part is their story, God Bless them both and many more birthdays to come!
