Dream Stealers

Refuse relinquishing your dreams
dream stealers are near
patiently waiting for you
to give up today

If you don’t succeed
in your quest today
stand tall with resolve
to try again tomorrow

It goes along with the saying “misery loves company!” … we must keep focused and concentrate on our strengths and passions so we do not allow them to cross the lines into destroying our dreams.

Thank you so much for sharing this with us. And thank you for your recent visit to my site. I think the key is to recognize the dream stealers. Sometimes they are quite stealthy and cunning.

  14. Marilyn says:

I love this one. It is so true. I avoid dream poppers like the plague! Thanks for your wisdom!

    • becca givens says:

Those dream stealers love nothing better than to wait and jump at the chance to squash other’s dreams … hopefully, people listen to them less and less. Thanks, Marilyn for your visit and feedback! 🙂

  15. Renee Espriu says:

I love your descriptive words to go with this image, Becca. Is this your art or another’s. I did see the Image Credit and clicked on it but it only enlarged the piece. Thank you for suggesting about my art and perhaps at some point I might consider it. Presently I am working on quite a large piece that is taking me some time as it is larger than ones I’ve done before and it might not be a candidate for putting on my site. I have enjoyed coming here and getting ideas. Between you and Trisha I now feel comfortable to write Haikus! Thank You!

    • becca givens says:

Awesome news, Renee … I look forward to seeing the addition to your blog.
RE: artwork … no, this is not one of mine … too detailed for me … mine is more meditative and abstract … I have very few composed pieces. Thank you for visiting. 🙂

  16. Pat Cegan says:
