Aah, I hadn’t located the geography of the piece but when I saw the picture I felt the darkness. Now it makes so much more sense! Great haiku response.

I have seen this gateway included in a story featured on NPR’s most e-mailed stories! It also appeared in a post at CloakedMonk, did it not? Anyway, I love what you done with your haiku to spur us never to forget this critical historical and spiritual lesson!
